| Description |
English: On 20 July 2013 I took this photo of the sole surviving remnant of the former LD&ECR west of the Midland Main Line in Chesterfield. The feature is the blue brick upright behind the lamppost in centre shot. This was the base of the right-hand upright of the arch shown on the main image accompanying the Horns Bridge article, which was taken from the south loking north, whilst this shot is taken looking southeast along the original Hasland Road. The train passing overhead is a northbound service slowing for its stop at Chesterfield (Midland) station. |
