English: China Pond, Wallington Autumn beeches reflect in the still waters of the ornamental lake in West Wood at Wallington. China or Chinese Pond takes its name from a 'Chinese' wooden pavilion erected as a folly at Wallington in the 18th century, but has now rotted away.
