Chomnungwa is a zimbabwe type site in mberengwa

Description
English: Chomnungwa is an iron age site which belongs to the Great Zimbabwe tradition. It was built with granite blocks without mortar or an binding substance. The highest wall is 3m. It has chevron decorations which are found at Great Zimbabwe's great enclosure. The site was heavily plundered in the early 20th century by Europeans who were seeking for gold. The site in Mberengewa distict, central zimbabwe.
