English: Sevel feet high Chowdals are decorated structures like a temple, made out of hay and bamboo sticks. which symbolizes the sun and sunrays. These are one of the main attraction in Tusu Festivals which are celebrated on and after Makar Sakranti in Jharkhand and tribal areas of Odisha and West Bengal.
