Summary edit

Description

The magnificent West Facade of the Priory is dominated by the 120' (37m) tall West Tower and the 50' ( 15m) long and 55' (17m) high North Porch.

The massive West Tower holds a peal of 12 bells, which from 1932-2012 were the only one of its kind in Dorset.

The enormous Priory Church itself dominates the surronding town and landscape and as it is 311' (91m) long, it is longer than several Anglican Cathedrals and it is the longest Parish Church in the country.
