  • Gifted to the sitter's son, the painter Frederik Sødring, in 1834.
  • Acquired by the consul general Johan Hansen (1861–1943) between 1918 and 1927;
  • His auction, part VIII, Winkel & Magnussen auction 137, 31. maj 1933, no. 100;
  • Purchased here by Emil Simoni.
  • Sold at Bruun Rasmussen Auctions on May 17, 2006 for DKK 6,000 (EUR 800). Lot 620/610. bruun-rasmussen.dk
