El Chrysler imperial es un vehículo que por su elegancia y majestuosidad era considerado el vehículo representativo de las altas esferas sociales de la época, tal es así que se engloba dentro de la categoría FULL CLASSIC según el Car Club of America.

Fue uno de los primeros modelos de lujo construidos en serie, de tal manera que se consiguieron fabricar hasta 48.254 unidades entre 1927 y 1928
