English: Church of St Mary of the Angels, Main Road, Bolton le Sands A Roman Catholic church, built in 1882-4 and designed by E Simpson. Pevsner considered the porch tower to have quite irresponsible details but to me it is clearly a 19C design with no pretence at being medieval. |
