editDescriptionChurcham vicarage - geograph.org.uk - 1318174.jpg |
English: Churcham vicarage Seen from footpath DCH70/2. "In 1825 the vicar claimed that the house was unfit for residence (fn. 76) and it was largely rebuilt in the mid 19th century as a two-story house of brick with Tudor-style windows and gables with decorative barge-boards. A part of the old house, adjoining the new house on the north, was retained at the rebuilding, but most of the older range was removed during modernization of the house c. 1962".
