Passando por Buenos Aires, falou à CLACSO TV sobre os atuais cortes e perseguições nas universidades de seu país, denunciando «o bloqueio do financiamento necessário para manter as atividades das universidades públicas» desde a chegada de Jair Bolsonaro ao governo.
Flávia Biroli foi editora da Revista Brasileira de Ciência Política (2009-2016), Diretora Adjunta do Instituto de Ciência Política da Universidade de Brasília (2011-2015) e Diretora da Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Ciências Sociais (2011-12). Ela também foi membro do Grupo de Assessores da Sociedade Civil de Mulheres da ONU no Brasil (2016-2018).
