| Description |
English: Claremont House, Storrs Bridge Lane, Loxley Valley. I couldn't penetrate the undergrowth to get a better picture of this large house ... derelict and awaiting either demolition or refurbishment. It is called Claremont House and was built in 1895. As Marshalls Refractory, further down Storrs Bridge Lane grew in size, the location of the house would have been less favourable and eventually it was purchased by Marshalls and used as a Social Club for the workers. 1157810 1158130 1158160 1158174 |
