| Description |
English: Clay waste haul road above White Pit Quarry. It runs parallel to the long ridge of waste that can be seen for miles east of the central claypits 1736423, 1723874. Gorse has established itself on the old quarry sides. A distant band of grey, above centre, is the waste recently spread on the Rixey Park site, the growing heap that was once a hole, mostly in SX8576. Just below it is the brown landscaped side of the tip alongside the B3193. Beyond it, left, is the old waste heap southwest of Newbridge Quarry 1654759. On the skyline is the eastern edge of Dartmoor. |
