Peter Carl Fabergé was the crown jeweler to the imperial court of Russia at the end of the 19th century. He created his celebrated Easter eggs, symbols of rebirth and renewal, as gifts for the Russian imperial family. Made of gold, lapis lazuli, pearls, diamonds, and rubies, this exquisite egg conceals a delightful surprise within. When opened, it reveals an imperial crown.
