The caption card below it reads: "Cyril Adamson and Peter Harrison mined the Blue John Stone and made this beautiful bowl from it. The stone was mined from Treak Cliff Cavern in 1960, allowed to dry out for two years. The bowl was started being made in 1962 and was completed in 1963. It was presented to the Castleton Centre in 2005 by the owners of Treak Cliff Cavern." |
