| Description |
English: Cliffs and beach north of Hanover Point The headland in the distance is Hanover Point. The tilt in the beds is evident in the cliff face on the left of the photo. Boulders of the harder rock remain on the sandy beach, the green covering gives an idea of how far the tide normally rises. The green rocks middle right are a bed of harder stone protruding from beneath the sand, inclined at a similar angle to the beds in the cliff. An eager fossil-hunter is out on the rocks to the right of Hanover Point, but the tide is not fully out yet. |
