Description
English: Significance: The Climatron dome is the worlds first completey air-conditioned greenhouse and the first geodesic dome to be enclosed in rigid Plexiglass panels. Designed by Thomas C. Howard of Synergetics, Inc, and Frits W. Went, the director of the garden at the time and engineer for climate control.
