Description
English: Clock, urn, cast iron case in shape of base of fluted pillar, painted mottled green to simulate marble. Surmounted by urn. Lion masks at sides. Semi-circular plates closely spaced (12 mm) and extra tall barrels. Brocot escapement between plates with steel pallets and short pendulum solid with pallet arbor. Rack and snail striking on bell. Interesting departure from conventional French design.
