Description
English: Collotype, divided back, 13.75 x 8.80 cm. Two carefully positioned stamps at the top, according to the then prevailing "language of stamps" would say "Write soon." This is what the message – using the numbers associated with postcard collector rings – suggests as well. Addressed to Ernst Dworzak, L. [Linke] Wollzeile 15, Vienna Austria: "Dear J.J. 5705 received your card, which was very nice, would like to hear from you again. Yours Truly, J.J. 5864 Pvt. [Private] J. Burke. Roy. Oryal] Irish Fus. [Fusiliers]. Kasauli Depot India 25 August 1910."
