Object history
Deutsch: Die Wellen im Schildfuß weisen sowohl auf die Salzach, die das Gemeindegebiet im Westen begrenzt, als auch auf den Johannis- oder Kirchbrunnen, der schon vor mehr als tausend Jahren als einzige Quelle im weiten Umkreis die Gründung des karolingischen Wirtschaftshofes in Hochburg ermöglichte. Der Stern erinnert an den 1787 in der Ortschaft Unterweitzberg geborenen Komponisten des 1818 entstandenen Stille-Nacht-Liedes, Franz Xaver Gruber.
