Object history
English: Coat of arms of the former Danish municipality of Bramming. Granted to Bramming Civil Parish in 1964 and continued by the new Bramming Municipality after the municipal reforms of 1970. The sceptre is an attribute of St. Canute to whom the church in Bramming is dedicated. The pale wavy argent refers to the Ilsted river that runs through the centre of the old part of the village. It is also a canting element as the name of the village means "the place where the river bends".
