| Description |
English: Cobbett Hill. Unless you happen to be a golfer, this square can only be accessed by footpath (which is rather amazing, considering that the centre of Guildford is less than 3 miles away!). This view is from that footpath looking towards Cobbett Hill, so named because the famous early-19th century radical politician had a farm hereabouts. The site is now a golf course part of the Merrist Wood agricultural college. |
