| Description |
(1 in a multiple picture album) For those who do not think the desert can hold beauty, walk across the Navajo Pedestrian Bridge. The Colorado River is carving away here just as it does in the Grand Canyon. When I see the river, I remember the little stream it was up above Grand Lake in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. It has traveled to get here a thousand miles, forming Lake Powell and through Canyonlands National Park. It still has a ways to go down through Grand Canyon, Lake Mead and on to Mexico. |
