中文：由（日本？）照片翻刻《申報》出版的「福州地理形圖」。現藏法國國家圖書館。圖左下文字：昨接得友人有確信，云福州開仗爭，七月初三下午二點鐘候，中法兵船在羅星塔開仗。炮火連天，戰約三點鐘之久，打沉法船三只，中國兵船沉五只。至初四早八點鐘時又開仗，戰約五點鐘之久，打沉法人座駕船一只，孤拔利死焉，又神尾大作用火排燒法船一只，燒死法兵無數。中船亦沉三只，今法船實存一只在口外，乃副提督座駕也。羅星塔外尚有法船三只，羅星塔砲台及船政局皆爛。白狗山炮台、馬尾炮台與法船戰至初八早，法船仝時而沉，法兵約死三千餘，中兵亦有也。惟願人竭忠勇，則法鬼畏威，又何難同??????昇平也乎。
