English: Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., 36th Commandant of the Marine Corps, administers the oath of enlistment to Drill Instructor Staff Sgt. Justin Crawn, the Marine Corps’ 2014 Drill Instructor of the Year, during a meritorious promotion ceremony Nov. 26, 2014, on Parris Island, S.C. Crawn, 32, from Hampton Township, N.J., currently serves as a senior drill instructor with Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion. The Drill Instructor of the Year award is part of the Commandant of the Marine Corps’ Combined Awards Program, which recognizes the top Marine serving in each of the Corps’ “B” billets.
