Description
Español: Placa conmemorativa dedicada al pintor Joaquín Martínez de la Vega en el número 38 de la calle Compañía, Málaga, España. La inscripción dice: «En esta casa falleció / el día 4 de diciembre de 1905 / el insigne artista / Joaquín Martínez de la Vega / El Ayuntamiento de Málaga / dedica este homenaje / a su memoria. / Repuso: Ateneo de Málaga / el 25-02-1970». La placa original fue instalada pocos años después de la muerte del artista, pero se perdió tras un fuerte temporal ocurrido en enero de 1958, haciéndose añicos al caer sobre el pavimento y sufriendo daños que hicieron imposible su reconstrucción. Fue restituida por el Ateneo de Málaga en1970 a raíz de la rehabilitación del inmueble donde se encuentra, el Parador de San Rafael, sede de la actual oficina de Turismo Andaluz.
