English: Commemorative oak tree, Peebles This is situated in the middle of a road junction at the south end of the Tweed bridge. A plaque informs us that it was planted on 29th November 1902 by the wife of Henry Ballantyne, Provost of Peebles, to honour the coronation of King Edward VII.
