Summary
editDescriptionCommunications Mast, Deadmantree Hill - geograph.org.uk - 1099881.jpg |
English: Communications Mast, Deadmantree Hill Possibly a recent addition as it is not marked on any map. The footpath runs from Deadmantree Hill to Curds Farm and follows the Sussex Greensand Way, a former Roman road that began at Barcombe Mills and ended at Hardham Station on Stane Street near modern day Pulborough. As the name suggests it follows the greensand ridge to the north of the Downs which was and still is prime corn growing country. |
