Rekonstruktion des Flügels des fossilen Vogels Confuciusornis sanctus, verändert nach Chiappe et al. 1999.

Rot: Das Foramen im Deltopectoralkamm und das proximale Verschmelzen der Mittelhandknochen II und III zu einem Carpometacarpus sind charakteristisch für diesen Vogel aus der chinesischen Unterkreide.

Typ: nachbearbeitete Fineliner-Zeichnung.
