So we started the hike abour 14 miles from here- all the way down the valley in this shot, pretty much where the mountains start to run perpendicular. Needless to say it felt pretty good to stand on the top of it all and look back. My hiking partner was about 15 minutes behind me at this point so it worked out perfectly when I turned back to see her just cresting the first peak up on Triangle Pass. Surrounded by huge peaks and pristine valleys, it was just an EPIC moment. Had I any more Cliff bars it'd been just about perfect. You can't really see it but if you look at the bigger or original my hiking buddy is standing dead center on that close little peak Thanks for lookin! |
