| Description |
English: Converted military building, Dilton. Dilton is just west of Beaulieu Heath which was used as an airfield during the Second World War. The network of small concrete supply roads still survives in the surrounding area, and here a few RAF buildings have survived and are now used as farm buildings. The buildings on the Crown lands of the New Forest have been completely removed in order to go some way to restoring the original character of the heath. |
