editDescriptionConvoy clock, Merseyside Maritime Museum.jpg |
English: Convoy clock (1943), Merseyside Maritime Museum, Liverpool, England. This zig-zag clock was used on the MV Linguist, in the shipping convoys of World War II. When the alarm went off it would enable the entire convoy to change course at the same time, at set intervals, in order to evade the enemy. |
