Summary edit

Description
English: Cormorants take up their respective places on a dead tree to settle in for the night. These birds are colonial nesters, using trees, rocky islets, or cliffs. They are often seen along lakes and rivers where they dive into the water to catch fish. However, unlike ducks, their feathers are not water resistant and one can often see them with wings wide open, sunning themselves dry during the day.
