Summary edit

Description
English: Mt. Graham has received significant precipitation from monsoon storms. Due to current flooding and the potential for continued flooding, the majority of the Frye Fire area remains closed. When vegetation is lost in a wildfire, landscapes can become more vulnerable to flooding. Plant canopies, branches and ground litter protect soil from impacts of precipitation, and roots hold soil in place. Exposed surfaces become more prone to soil movement and flooding. Debris picked up and moved by floodwaters adds to already hazardous conditions.
