Summary edit

Description

This interior courtyard is one of many places throughout the gigantic Louvre complex where artwork (sculptures in this case) is laid out in a very stunning presentation.

The Louvre is so vast that just running through the corridors and getting a bare hint of the collections takes three hours. It is far more realistic to dedicate several full days to explore it, or just pick and choose specific eras, cultures, themes, or artists.
