English: While the construction of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) on the Chajnantor Plateau was in progress another remarkable project was developing in the San Pedro de Atacama area in the Chilean Andes - an ethnological research project aiming to reconstruct the traditional vision of the Universe of the inhabitants of the local communities. Português: Em paralelo com a construção do Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) no planalto do Chajnantor, foi desenvolvido outro projeto interessante na região de San Pedro de Atacama nos Andes chilenos. Tratou-se de um projeto de investigação etnológica que pretendeu reconstruir a visão tradicional do Universo dos habitantes das comunidades locais. Español: Mientras se llevaba a cabo la construcción del Atacama Large Millimeter/ submillimeter Array (ALMA) en el llano de Chajnantor, otro destacado proyecto estaba en desarrollo en la zona de San Pedro de Atacama, en los Andes chilenos, un proyecto de investigación etnológica que pretende reconstruir la visión tradicional que los habitantes de las comunidades locales tenían del Universo. |
