Description
English: Cragdale Allotments East Cragdale Moor is a desolate high fell area rising to 1800 feet and lies to the East (left) of Cragdale Water. It was subject to the Enclosure Acts of the late 18C and numerous walled pasture areas may be seen in the winter light, particularly in the valley bottom which had the better glacial soil.
