Summary edit

Description
English: Craigie Hill fort A prehistoric fort-walled settlement on top of Craigie Hill. The steep eastern side of the ridge is a natural defence, and on the west are the remains of three stone walls. In the interior are hut platforms 6-8m diameter and stone walls of some hut circles. A secondary, smaller stone-walled fort at the N end is more recent and possibly of Dark Age date. No sign of any of this on the ground, but some nice old woodland.
