Description
English: Crews Lake after Tropical Storm Debby in Shady Hills, Florida in 2012. This view is at the end of the dock, where a rain gauge used to exist. This lake is the source for the Pithlachascotee River. Earlier in the 21st Century, the lake was stricken by a severe drought that seemed to be coming to an end in 2010 when heavy rains brought the lake up to a severe low level, only to be hit by another drought. The aftermath of Tropical Storm Debby was another attempt by mother nature to replenish the lake.
