An oft-photographed crossroads sign in Crossville, Tennessee, located in the Southeastern United States. The photograph on the left was taken by photographer Ben Shahn in 1937, and the photograph on right was taken in 2007. The sign is now on the lawn of the Cumberland County Courthouse. The original Shahn photograph is in the public domain as a work of the federal government (Source). Some minor edge cropping has been applied for consistency purposes.
