English: Up freight near Croxdale. View westward, towards Durham and Newcastle: ex-NE ECML. THe Class H freight is headed by ex-WD 'Austerity' 2-8-0 No. 90045. This locomotive was built in 1944 by NB Loco, stored then shipped to the Continent in 2/45; returning early in 1946, it was purchased by the LNER becoming LNE O7 class No. 3045 and under BR No. 90045, and survived until 10/65. |
