The producers (Rabinovicz of Vienna) claimed that wearing the cross ensured longevity, curing gout, rheumatism, neuralgia, neurasthenia, insomnia, coldness in limbs, hypochondria, jaundice, asthma, gynecologic disorders, paralysis, spasms, skin disease, hemorrhoids, heart disease, influenza, cough, deafness, tinnitus, headache and toothache.
