English:
Former Schreyer House. Dr. Lajos Schreyer (†1896), physician, built his eclectic house here in 1887 on a plot purchased from a neighboring bank. Around 1920 the library of Ernő Szerb was located here. In the 1960s, the additional storey were added. - Building history plaque: "Schreyer House is a building of local importance. The eclectic residence of Lajos Schreyer, surgeon, forensic and career? doctor, was built in 1887. It was designed by Ludwig Schöne of Vienna and executed by well-known local builders, the Morandini brothers. In the 1920s it housed the offices and warehouses of Transdanubia, Food and Goods Co.; here; then the loan library of Ernő TSerbia operated at 4 Csengery Street. The memorial plaque was erected in 2006: OldGood Tradition-Creating and Preserving Association" - 6 Csengery Road, Nagykanizsa, Zala County, Hungary.
