Cullaloe is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its rare plants, including Mudwort. Cullaloe Blog: http://cullaloe.blogspot.com/ Includes current surveys, fortnightly bird count, Original Species List 2008, Butterfly Transect 2008 and calendar of list of events and works planned for the year. Plenty to keep the twitchers happy here. Behind is the Quarry where they allegedly thieved the Fife rock to build some of the New Town of Edinburgh.
