Summary edit

Description
English: A Cunningham C-4RK recreation at a 2021 Caffeine & Carburetors event in New Canaan, CT. Briggs Cunningham III built four continuation C4Rs in the 1990s, but also made a fifth chassis. This chassis ended up in the hands of of Chuck Schoendorf who also happened to have a Cunningham-spec 1952 Chrysler Hemi V8 laying around. With the consent of the Revs Institute (who owns the only real C-4RK, chassis 5218R) and the Cunningham heirs, the original car was 3D-scanned to make the bucks for this one. The chassis number R5219 was chosen as a continuation after 5218R, the last original C4R. The continuation cars had been numbered R5220 through 5223, which had also left a convenient gap in the sequence. This was first shown at Greenwich in 2018, at which time a number of small details had not yet been completed, such as the wind deflector and the leather straps.
