Description
Svenska: Museiintendent Bengt Bengtsson (till vänster) från Kulturen i Lund förevisar en av de utställda Nordenbergtavlorna för landshövding Thure Andersson och hans maka Astrid.
Det sades om Blekingekonstnären Bengt Nordenberg att han dog vid 80 års ålder i glömska 1902, men på lördagen togs han i födelsebygden i Olofström fram ur glömskan vid vernissagen på den största separatutställning av hans verk som någonsin arrangerats. Från museer och privatpersoner har närmare ett hundratal av hans verk samlats i södra hallen i Svenska stålpressningaktiebolaget, landshövding Thure Andersson förrättade invigningen och fil.dr Bengt Bengtsson från Kulturen i Lund gav vad han blygsamt kallade "kompletterande randanmärkningar" byggande bland annat på den brevsamling som Nordenberg donerat till Kulturen. Men dessutom presenterades Nordenberg i en förnämlig minnesskrift, i vilken konstnären själv medverkar i minnesanteckningar från barndomsåren i Blekinge och självbiografiska avsnitt som nu för första gången i sin helhet publiceras.
