DescriptionCurved Ridge, Stob Dearg. - geograph.org.uk - 20089.jpg |
English: Curved Ridge, Stob Dearg. Stob Dearg is an iconic Scottish peak. As the business end of the long Buachaille Etive Mor ridge it rises as a high wall of rhyolite above Rannoch Moor for all to see. Usually known as "The Buachaille" for many this big hill is just the crags of the north east end. This is just the highlight of Buachaille Etive Mor, while climbers usually descend from this one summit, a longer day can be had traversing the other 3 peaks in this small range of hills. Taken about halfway up Curved Ridge, about the easiest way up the crag. |
