English: Cylch yr Orsedd. Gorsedd stone circle This was built for the use of the Gorsedd Beirdd Ynys Prydain (Order of the Bards of the Isle of Britain) for their druidical ceremonies during the Anglesey National Eisteddfod. The rituals of the order - and its influence in the Welsh Establishment - echoes that of its Orange and Masonic cousins. Present-day members of the Order include Elisabeth o Windsor and Rowan Williams, Archesgob Caer-gaint/the Archbishop of Canterbury. |
