Español: Dígitos, Magnitudes y Porcentaje de Sombreado en Eclipses Lunares (medios):

Dígitos, forma de medir la magnitud del eclipse en tiempos de Claudio Ptolomeo (S. II d.C.) siendo las doceavas partes del diámetro lunar sombreado.

El cálculo de los dígitos es, entonces, la fracción sombreada igual a la magnitud actual -menor o igual a 1- multiplicada por 12 dígitos (Luna 100% eclipsada).

Ej.: una Luna con la mitad de su diámetro sombreado tiene 6 dígitos de eclipsado, es decir una magnitud actual de 0,5 o un 46% de su superficie sombreada.
