Mahnmal am alten jüdischen Friedhof // Der alte jüdische Friedhof vor dem Lüdinghauser Tor, auf dem seit 1905 nach Anlegung eines neuen Friedhofs etwas außerhalb der Stadt keine Bestattung mehr erfolgten, wurde 1937 auf Druck des nationalsozialistischen Bürgermeisters an die Stadt Dülmen verkauft. Die alten Grabsteine wurden auf den neuen Friedhof verbracht, Exhumierungen fanden nicht statt. // 1979 brachte die Stadt hier einen Gedenkstein an. Dieser wurde 1990 durch zwei Stelen mit den Namen von 20 Dülmener Juden ergänzt, die Opfer des Nationalsozialismus geworden waren. // Zehn der dort genannten Personen waren 1941/42 von Dülmen aus deportiert worden: Karl und Selma Frankenberg, Charlotte, Hugo und Sara Pins, Josef und Lina Salomon, Bertha, Julia und Margarete Wolff // Sieben Personen waren zwischen 1933 und 1940 verzogen oder in die Niederlande emigriert und von ihrem neuen Wohnort aus in den Tod deportiert worden: Berta, Hermann, Isidor und Walter Davidson, Paula Dublon, Kurt Frankenberg, Emma Pins // Adolf und Johanna Davidson hatten im Gegensatz zu den anderen Mitgliedern ihrer Familie den Nationalsozialismus überlebt. Lore Wolff hatte selbst nicht in Dülmen gelebt, war jedoch mit einem Mitglied der Dülmener Familie Wolff verheiratet. // Nicht aufgenommen wurden 1990 andere Juden aus Dülmen, die in die Niederlande emigriert und späteren Erkenntnissen zufolge von dort aus deportiert worden waren: Friederike und Regina Bendix, Lore Philipp geb. Frankenberg, Hans Salomon. // Ebenfalls unberücksichtigt blieben damals Mitglieder der jüdischen Gemeinde, die auf andere Weise im Nationalsozialismus den Tod gefunden hatten: als Opfer der „Euthanasie“: Jacob Salomon, in Gestapo-Haft gestorben: Louis Pins, an anderen Folgen von Misshandlungen gestorben: David Dublon, in den Suizid getrieben: Max Cahn und Hermann Leeser // Neben diesen ermordeten oder in den Tod getriebenen Opfern möchte die Stadt Dülmen aber auch an jede Dülmener Juden erinnern, die zwar den Holocaust überlebt haben, aber durch Entrechtung, Emigration und Verlust von Familienmitgliedern zu Opfern des Nationalsozialismus wurden. Dieser Erinnerung dienen auch die seit 2005 in Dülmen verlegten Stolpersteine // Dülmen, im November 2015
