Summary edit

Description

A better shot of one of the last Bedfords to be produced - new to Heard of Hartland,Devon.. It has resided here for well over a year. What was its recent history?? E969WTA was an even later identical vehicle which Heard bought . In the mid 1990s it passed to Easton of Stratton Strawless who operated it into the 21st century. Eastons are a long established business, originally A.W.Easton of the Ratcatcher Inn of Cawston, later at Brandiston and finally at Stratton Strawless, describing an anti-clockwise arc north of Norwich between Reepham and Aylsham. C 1960, a Commer Avenger I - CHurchill was operated, as did another Norfolk inn-keeper, CJ Eagle of the Ostrich, Castle Acre.

almost exactly a year later to the day, between 14 and 16 May 2011, the vehicle was removed, perhaps for scrapping.
